The club will provide breakfasts purchased before hand. A medical history waiver will need to be signed in-person, and will be provided then. All participants and their equipment will enter the PE department's bus at about 7:00 at Lot M, as agreed by Javier Krumm. They will be driven partway down the trail, then begin riding.
All participants are expected to bring their bikes, biking helmets, water canteens, and a small bag or backpack; if you lack any of these, please let us know and we can try to accommodate you. The club will bring important supplies such as water bottles, electrolytes, a first-aid kit, a bike repair kit, and snacks. Water fountains and outhouses are available on the trail.
The ride is estimated to arrive at the beach significantly before noon, accounting for short breaks that will be taken as necessary.
The bus will arrive some time after the bikes. All participants will be encouraged to get lunch from the cafeteria upon returning if timing permits, and the club will supply meal tickets for those who do not have them. Professor Ombati will host a presentation about the river later in the day, on campus.
If desired, you may bring a swimsuit for the beach or join in SALSU's kayaking event that accepts new participants until noon. In either case you will have to either leave with us when our bus arrives or arrange your own transportation. If you want to participate in SALSU's kayaking event, please contact salsu.wellness@lasierra.edu, fill out their form, and pay $15 to them.
